Enhancing the performance of GaN SG HEMTs: The new EiceDRIVER™ 1EDN71x6G HS 200 V single-channel gate driver family |

In accordance with its strategically-designed GaN product portfolio to continuously strengthen full system solutions, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) introduces the EiceDRIVER™ 1EDN71x6G HS 200V single-channel gate driver ICs family. The new product family is designed to enhance the performance of CoolGaN™ Schottky Gate (SG) HEMTs but is also compatible with other GaN HEMTs and Silicon MOSFETs. The gate drivers aim at a wide range of applications including DC-DC converters, motor drives, telecom, server, robots, drones, power tools, and class D audio amplifiers.

Munich, Germany – 13 December, 2021 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has developed a security solution for automotive wireless charging: OPTIGA™ Trust Charge automotive complies with version 1.3 of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi standard, which requires strong cryptographic authentication for wireless charging up to 15 W. For this, the power transmitter must authenticate itself to the power receiver, such as a cell phone, with a secured storage subsystem. Based on its comprehensive automotive and security expertise, Infineon designed OPTIGA Trust Charge automotive to meet the necessary application requirements for this process supporting the development of next-generation charging solutions. |

Infineon and MCI supply sensors for air quality measurement to schools in Carinthia and Tyrol |

Villach/Innsbruck, Austria – 7 December, 2021 – Five Higher Technical Schools (Höhere Technische Lehranstalten, HTLs) in Carinthia and six in Tyrol received high-precision CO2 sensors from Infineon Technologies Austria AG and MCI in Innsbruck. The teams of students will use them to build CO2 alarm lights to indicate the necessity for ventilation thus reducing the risk of infection. A total of 300 classrooms will be equipped. |
