Infineon and VinFast extend partnership in the field of electromobility |

Munich, Germany, Singapore and Hanoi, Vietnam – 13 October 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY), the world leader in automotive semiconductor solutions, and VinFast, Vietnam’s first global smart electric car maker, announced to extend their partnership on occasion of Infineon’s OktoberTech™ Asia Pacific 2022 Technology Forum in Singapore. The two companies will set up a joint application competence center focusing on electromobility to accelerate VinFast’s development of solutions for the future of smart mobility. The inauguration of the center is planned in the first quarter of 2023. |

Munich, Germany, and Cegléd, Hungary – 6 October 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has opened a new factory in Cegléd, Hungary. The factory is dedicated to the assembly and testing of high-power semiconductor modules to drive the electrification of vehicles, which is key in the improvement of the world’s CO2 balance. In addition, Infineon has invested in further production capacities for high-power modules that enable green energy, from wind turbines and solar modules to energy-efficient drives. |

Munich, Germany – 4 October, 2022 – One key way to address the global trends of an increasing share of volatile renewable energy sources and a growing electrification in mobility is to improve system integration of electricity consumers from all sectors. Implementation requires holistic thinking: from green power generation to a stable and efficient grid infrastructure to storage and consumption. Bidirectional charging contributes significantly to this by, for example, allowing the electricity stored in the battery of an electric vehicle to be used to supply the power grid or electrical appliances in the home when needed.
