03.08.2022 07:33 Successful third quarter; strong revenue growth especially in the Automotive segment; further increases in revenue and earnings expected in the fourth quarter
Neubiberg, 3 August 2022 – Today, Infineon Technologies AG is reporting results for the third quarter of its 2022 fiscal year (period ended 30 June 2022).
02.08.2022 10:15 Infineon’s new HYPERRAM™ memory chip doubles bandwidth for low pin-count, high-performance solutions
Munich, Germany – 2 August, 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has added HYPERRAM™ 3.0 to its portfolio of high-bandwidth, low-pin count memory solutions. The device features a new,16-bit extended version of the HyperBus™ interface that doubles throughput to 800 MBps. With HYPERRAM 3.0, Infineon offers a portfolio of high-bandwidth memories with low pin-count and low-power. It is a perfect fit for applications requiring expansion RAM memory, including video buffering, factory automation, Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and automotive vehicle-to-everything (V2X), as well as applications requiring scratch-pad memory for intense mathematical calculations.
28.07.2022 10:15 Infineon's OPTIGA™ Trust M first to receive CLS-Ready certification from Cyber Security Agency of Singapore
Munich, Germany – 28 July, 2022 – OPTIGA™ Trust M from Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) is the first security platform to receive the CLS-Ready certification from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). As the number of IoT devices increases, so does the number of cyberattacks worldwide. However, the security of Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Thinking Things (IoTT) devices is very frequently overlooked until it is too late and attackers manage to compromise the devices. To address the increasing cybersecurity threats, the CSA launched the Cybersecurity Labeling Scheme (CLS) in 2020.
27.07.2022 11:15 New XENSIV™ PAS CO2 Shield2Go board for carbon dioxide measurement featuring an integrated prototyping concept to test system behavior
Munich, Germany – 27 July, 2022 – Poor ventilation can lead to rapid accumulation of CO2. This is a threat to human well-being, as even moderate CO2 concentrations can affect health and productivity. Efficient indoor air quality monitoring systems can prevent such issues. In addition, carbon dioxide detection is enabling energy savings through demand controlled ventilation. However, to implement those systems quickly and easily, it is important for developers to test the behavior of a system in a controllable and time-saving manner. Therefore, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) is launching the new XENSIV™ PAS CO2 Shield2Go board, which is suitable for both air quality monitoring and demand-controlled ventilation for energy savings.
27.07.2022 09:00 Electric cars as buffer storage for solar power: Infineon and Delta enable bidirectional charging at home
Munich, Germany – 27 July 2022 – On hot summer days, the share of solar power in the energy mix reaches record levels. But what to do when the sun is not shining? With bidirectional charging, solar power from the photovoltaic system is stored in electric cars and home batteries and fed back into the home grid in the evening hours or when needed to operate household appliances. This protects the environment, saves money and creates further incentives for switching to emission-free electromobility.
26.07.2022 12:15 Infineon’s CoolSiC™ devices support bi-directional inverter from Delta to let electric vehicles become emergency backup power
Munich, Germany – 26 July, 2022 – CoolSiC™ products from Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) are adopted by Delta Electronics, a Taiwan-based global leading provider of power and energy management solutions, to allow for a big step towards energy transition and carbon neutrality with green power. With the successful development of bi-directional inverters, a hybrid three-in-one system that integrates solar, energy storage and charging of electric vehicles (EV), Delta is enabling EVs to become an household emergency backup power.
