Infineon’s CIPOS™ Mini IM523 increases reliability and performance for low- and medium-power drive applications |

Munich, Germany – 24 October, 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has launched the IM523 series of the CIPOS™ Mini family. The highly efficient IPMs (intelligent power modules) are based on the new 600 V Reverse Conducting Drive 2 (RCD2) IGBT technology, and come with an open emitter. The CIPOS IM523 series enables the integration of various power and control components to increase reliability, and optimize PCB size as well as system cost. The new IPMs are designed to control three-phase motors in low- and medium-power variable-speed drives for home appliances, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), as well as for industrial fans and drives up to 1.4 kW. |

Munich, Germany – 19 October, 2022 – To improve road safety, many countries are introducing regulations that require drivers to actively yield the right of way to emergency vehicles. As more autonomous vehicles are deployed, regulations are likely to include self-driving vehicles that can also detect and respond to emergency vehicles and meet safety requirements. In numerous instances, this will require a combination of audible and visual warning signals. Today, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) announced that it is working with Cerence Inc. (NASDAQ: CRNC) to build a solution based on automotive qualified XENSIV™ MEMS microphones (IM67D130A) from Infineon and Cerence Emergency Vehicle Detection (EVD) software. This will enable vehicles to actively detect approaching emergency vehicles, especially when they are not in sight. |

Infineon and VinFast extend partnership in the field of electromobility |

Munich, Germany, Singapore and Hanoi, Vietnam – 13 October 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY), the world leader in automotive semiconductor solutions, and VinFast, Vietnam’s first global smart electric car maker, announced to extend their partnership on occasion of Infineon’s OktoberTech™ Asia Pacific 2022 Technology Forum in Singapore. The two companies will set up a joint application competence center focusing on electromobility to accelerate VinFast’s development of solutions for the future of smart mobility. The inauguration of the center is planned in the first quarter of 2023. |
