EISELE equips AT series submersible motor pumps with IE5 synchronous motors, offering unique savings potential
Sigmaringen (Germany), 21 November 2023 – EISELE is a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the agricultural and biogas sectors. Now it has equipped three of its proven AT series submersible motor pumps with energy-efficient IE5 class synchronous motors. The tried-and-tested drives comply with the Ultra Premium Efficiency category according to the EU Ecodesign Regulation, setting new standards in energy efficiency. Eisele is currently the only manufacturer in the biogas field to equip submersible motor pumps with IE5 motors with matched performance specifications. The pumps are unbeatable worldwide in terms of savings on energy and servicing costs. In Germany, they are eligible for grants through BAFA module 1 and module 4. Depending on their duration of use, they pay for themselves within a short, easily calculable time.

Long service life cuts servicing costs

The series with IE5 motors comprises three submersible motor pumps: AT 156-S-E (11 kW, up to 5100 L/min, pumping head 18 m), AT 206-S-E (15 kW, up to 5700 L/min, pumping head 20 m) and AT 256-S-E (18.5 kW, up to 6000 L/min, pumping head 22 m). All three pumps are of interest to both planners and manufacturers of biogas facilities, and can be used profitably by operators. Their efficiency at full load is well over 95%. They can also operate at variable speeds in low partial load ranges without any loss of efficiency. As a result, the pumps are suitable for various applications and substrates, where they achieve a longer service life than before and reduce servicing costs. In combination with the Eisele drum filling station FFS, the pumps enable energy-efficient drum filling in the agricultural and biogas sectors.

Invest now and benefit

The new IE5 drives were developed in-house to offer customers maximum savings potential with the high premium quality for which Eisele is known. All biogas plant operators can benefit from the new submersible motor pumps following energy price rises of up to 30%. In Germany, there is also the possibility of a guaranteed subsidy for the investment sum: biogas facility operators, plant constructors and service companies in Germany can therefore obtain grants for their construction project investments.

The German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) has further improved the conditions for grants. Among the changes, the previous subsidy rate for small businesses in the biogas sector with fewer than 50 employees has been increased from 40% to 50%. Starting immediately, under module 1 of the support programme, investments by biogas enterprises with fewer than 50 employees (SMEs) will receive grants of 50% – i.e. 10% more than before – under the so-called de minimis rule for biogas plant operators or the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER) for agricultural businesses. For businesses with less than 250 employees, the subsidy remains at 40%, as previously.

The grant application procedure is simple and can be handled by Eisele or the sales partners if desired. In general, neither an energy advisor nor an energy saving concept are required when applying for module 1. The only requirement for receiving a grant under module 1 is an IE5 manufacturer’s certificate from Eisele. In the case of BAFA module 4 – depending on the CO2 savings – a subsidy of up to 50% is possible. The application is made through an energy advisor, as an energy saving concept is required here.

Representatives and sales partners wanted

In the course of further expansion, Eisele is currently seeking sales partners for robust, durable mixers and pumps in several German states. A partnership with Eisele is of interest to firms specialising in biogas and plant construction as well as slurry technology, but also to those providing animal housing systems, agricultural technology and farm machinery. Eisele occupies a top position as one of the German market leaders in pump and mixer technology for biogas and agricultural applications. Thanks to its own research and development combined with extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, the company is regarded as a leader in energy-efficient motor technologies, produced to the very highest “Made in Germany” quality standards.
