Westermo Awarded EcoVadis Platinum Medal, Ranking Among the Top 1% of Companies Worldwide

Sustainability assessment helps customers evaluate suppliers, manage supply-chain risk and support responsible procurement

Västerås, Sweden, 08.09.2026 – Westermo has been awarded an EcoVadis Platinum Medal after achieving a score of 89 out of 100. The result places Westermo among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide and provides customers with independent verification of the company’s sustainability performance. EcoVadis assesses companies across four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Its ratings are used by organizations around the world to evaluate sustainability performance within their supply chains. "This achievement reflects years of dedicated work across our organization. The Platinum rating offers clear and independently assessed evidence of Westermo’s responsible business practices. The recognition is particularly relevant for organizations operating critical infrastructure, where long-term supplier reliability, responsible sourcing and transparent business practices are increasingly important procurement considerations. Westermo’s latest result represents an improvement from its previous silver rating in 2025 to Platinum.
