The result places Westermo among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide and provides customers with independent verification of the company’s sustainability performance. EcoVadis assesses companies across four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Its ratings are used by organizations around the world to evaluate sustainability performance within their supply chains. |

Westermo and Eviden win DB InfraGO Rail Data Transfer Challenge with high-performance mmWave solution |

Västerås, Sweden, June 16, 2026 – Westermo, in partnership with Eviden has won the DB InfraGO Rail Data Transfer Challenge, an innovation program by DB mindbox, the startup hub of Deutsche Bahn Group. The win was preceded by a multi-stage evaluation process and a final on-site demonstration under real railway conditions. The combined solution, based on multi-gigabit mmWave technology, demonstrated high-performance wireless data transfer between train and ground infrastructure and as a result secured the top position among competing approaches. |
