ROHM Launches “Engineer Social Hub”: Engineers supporting Engineers

Willich-Münchheide, Germany, July 30, 2026 – ROHM Co., Ltd. announces the launch of the English-language version of Engineer Social Hub, an online platform designed to make ROHM’s technical information, know-how, and support more accessible to engineers. Engineer Social Hub brings together ROHM’s technical content related to semiconductor products and solutions in one place. Through product-specific FAQs and discussions, as well as a chatbot, users can search for solutions to technical questions and obtain direct support from ROHM engineers. Previously, when users encountered technical challenges, they often needed to contact ROHM individually or make inquiries through distributors. Via the Engineer Social Hub, users can now access ROHM’s technical information and know-how online – anytime and from anywhere. FAQs and discussions on the site can be read and searched without logging in. If users are unable to find the information they need, they can register as members and post questions in discussions, enabling them to explore solutions in greater depth. The site also provides documents and videos explaining how to use Engineer Social Hub. Going forward, ROHM will continue to evolve Engineer Social Hub into a community in which not only ROHM and users, but also users themselves, can communicate with one another to generate new ideas and solutions. By consolidating technical information for ROHM’s wide-ranging product portfolio, the platform supports users in resolving tricky tasks through various functions, including FAQs, discussions, and other technical resources. This allows them to obtain practical guidance based on ROHM’s product knowledge and technical expertise. (Fig. 3) 3. Technical Discussion and Interaction Among Engineers Engineer Social Hub also enables communication among engineers through “discussion” and “community” where users can freely exchange opinions on specific themes. These interactions are not limited to ROHM engineers; users can also connect and share insights with one another. To encourage active participation, the platform incorporates gamification elements. Users who contribute actively by posting and engaging in discussions can earn points.
