ERNI Boosts Sales Activities in France

Expansion of internal and external sales forces

Adelberg, Germany, March 8, 2005 – ERNI is strengthening its position in the French market by further expanding its sales activities, there. Besides its external sales force, with regional areas of responsibility, sales in France will also be supported by an internal service center. The goal is to ensure customers will always receive rapid, case-specific support from ERNI staff members in the customers’ native language. ERNI’s sales concept is aimed at fast supply of product information, and quick delivery of samples and goods, by maintaining direct customer contact as much as possible. The direct-sales efforts in France are part of a global strategy of further penetrating all markets by stepping up sales activities. France is a key market “The French market is very important for us. It offers an ideal mix of large and small companies in telecommunications, aerospace, railroad engineering, and industrial automation,” said Gerald Römpp, who is responsible for the sale of ERNI products in France. “We see considerable potential here for increasing our European turnover outside Germany.” To further increase its French market penetration, ERNI will build upon its wide customer base, there, already buying its complete range of products – from the individual connector families, to backplanes, and systems technology products.
