SPS 2025: TE Connectivity presents latest solutions to pave the way from sensors to the cloud in industrial automation
TE showcases product highlights and connectivity solutions like the latest ECONIDUR plated contacts and SNR II relay, the next generation of slim PCB relays
GALWAY, Ireland – Nov. 19, 2025 – TE Connectivity, a world leader in connectors and sensors, will be showcasing dedicated product highlights for autonomous factories and factory floor at the SPS 2025 – Smart Production Solutions – from Nov. 25-27 in Nuremberg, Germany. Major highlights at TE’s stand 130 in Hall 10 will be the new innovative ECONIDUR contact plating for TE connectors and SNR II relays, the next generation of slim PCB relays with improved performance for demanding industrial applications. Experience products intuitively in industrial 3D landscapes Visitors to the booth can experience all of TE’s industry solutions in a practical setting using the latest 3D application tool to intuitively learn more about the integration of TE products. The tool provides contextual understanding and offers an immersive and intuitive way to explore solutions within realistic industrial settings. The 3D landscapes support an efficient solution finding, and users can directly access detailed product information, including the reliable MicroSpeed and SMC connector series from TE. These products are soon available with the latest ECONIDUR plating technology. TE’s latest and highly sustainable plating technology ECONIDUR connector contacts feature a nickel-phosphorus plating that uses a sophisticated stack configuration. TE has developed the ECONIDUR plating to significantly reduce CO2 emissions for more than 44% compared to a precious metal plating - depending on layer thicknesses, performance level and connector type - while maintaining quality. This decarbonization helps customers achieve their sustainability goals. ECONIDUR plated connectors operate reliably in many industrial applications, including control systems for automation or drive technology. They support trustworthy signal transmission at high data rates of up to several Gbit/s and feature withstand capabilities in terms of vibration, gas influences and micro friction (fretting). Slim PCB relays for a wide range of industrial control systems TE has evolved its time-tested SCHRACK SNR relay series into SNR II with an outstanding new platform design that delivers markedly higher vibration robustness, increased load headroom at elevated temperatures, and a much longer service life. The SNR II relay combines enhanced performance with a strong sustainability profile, targeting a CO2 footprint reduction of more than 15%. The relay is highly suitable for space-constrained applications. Furthermore, it provides full backward compatibility with the previous SNR model and existing sockets avoiding costly redesigns. Focusing on the evolution of new SPE standards TE is presenting a Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) hybrid connector in M12 format, which complies with IEC 63171-7. As a founding member of the SPE Industrial Partner Network, TE has been at the forefront of shaping the future of industrial communications and is driving the extension of the 63171-7 standard for a complete and unified industrial SPE ecosystem. The new edition 2 marks a significant step forward in the development of industrial connectivity and the acceleration of Industry 4.0 adoption. The standard is expected to accelerate market adoption of SPE technologies and reduce complexity, enable end-to-end ethernet, and, through the reduction of copper cables, enhance sustainability. Four arrows to guide customers At the booth, TE has enhanced its dominant brand identity with a new key visual. Four arrows symbolize TE's proximity to its customers and visualize the new trade show slogan “Powering Tomorrow's Connections Together.” More information about TE's presence at the show, SPS highlights and contact persons at the booth can be found at www.te.com/SPS SPS visitors can join TE presentations on several days covering various automation topics: Lecture program SPS
