Munich, Germany, October 29, 2026 – Under the slogan ‘Connectivity for Distributed Intelligence’, Inova Semiconductors will be presenting the next generation of connectivity at electronica 2026 in Munich/Germany from 10 to 13 November. In Hall C5, booth 259, visitors can experience interactive live demonstrations showing how the Munich-based company’s semiconductor technologies enable smart lighting, high-performance display connectivity, and real-time communication for advanced automotive and robotics applications. Highlights at the Inova booth Among the highlights at the exhibition stand are various live demonstrations of Inova’s technologies for automotive and robotics applications: ISELED and ILaS With the “Tree of Light”, Inova demonstrates the interaction between ISELED and ILaS. ISELED technology enables the dynamic, color-accurate control of RGB LEDs and forms the basis for intelligent, synchronized and flexibly controllable lighting. ILaS (ISELED Light and Sensor) extends this concept to connected lighting applications and enables the precise control of complex lighting systems with long daisy-chain configurations. The Interior Car Door Panel demonstrates how intelligent lighting, sensors and selected actuators can be connected within a shared local ILaS network. Individually controllable, pre-calibrated smart LEDs with temperature compensation enable precise light control. The segmented daisy-chain architecture supports diagnostics and fault protection. While ISELED provides the intelligent lighting function, ILaS connects local functions via a shared cabling infrastructure. APIX The APIX display demo highlights how high-resolution video signals and display control functions can be reliably transmitted over long distances. APIX technology enables high-performance display connectivity and supports daisy-chain configurations with up to four displays per lane, as well as 4K video streaming and integrated display control. The flexible connection of different display interfaces opens a wide range of possible applications in the automotive and robotics sectors. APXpress The APXpress robot application demonstrates how sensors and cameras can be seamlessly integrated via a real-time network with exceptionally low latency and used for precise robot control. The underlying APXpress technology enables the transmission of video, audio, and other data via more than 500 independent virtual data channels. Bandwidth and latency can be controlled individually for each channel. With scalable data rates of 4, 8, 16, and 32 Gbps, APXpress is suitable for demanding real-time applications in the automotive and robotics sectors.
