6th ISELED Conference in Munich – Intelligent lighting systems for the car of the future

Munich, Germany, October 09, 2025 – The sixth ISELED conference, the industry's leading event focusing on the future of intelligent LED and lighting systems in the automotive sector, will take place on October 22, 2025. Participation is possible either live on site in Munich or online. More than 15 renowned speakers will report on the latest developments in ISELED – the “digital LED” – and ILaS (ISELED Light and Sensor Network). Organized by the ISELED consortium, the conference brings together leading experts from industry and research to present new developments, applications, and technologies in the fields of smart lighting, embedded systems, and automotive innovation. Highlights of the program include the keynote speech on future developments in lighting, which will address challenges, opportunities, and the role of AI, as well as the presentation of ISELED 2.0 technology and the first series-production vehicle with ILaS ambient lighting, the BMW iX3 “New Class.” Hands-on products will be presented and demonstrated live alongside the conference. ISELED technology was founded in 2016 by the ISELED Alliance, which now comprises 60 members. ISELED has created an innovative standard that simplifies and digitizes complex lighting solutions in vehicles while reducing costs. The conference impressively demonstrates how this standard is evolving—for example, through integration into the ILaS protocol and through new use cases in the areas of interactive interior lighting, ambient lighting, and safety functions.
